media player plays too fast

I am having problems using any kind of media player
everything plays slightly too fast...whether it be from
downloaded music to information ...anything that has to be
listened too just plays too fast,,,I have tried everything
that i can think of...please help

One thing you can check if the CD drive is involved, is
changing from digital playback to analog.
On the Media Player toolbar, click Tools - Options -
Devices. Select the device and click Properties. Change
Playback to Analog.

If you have a DELL - get the newest audio driver - will also fix video speed
