media player not working

After working perfectly the first time around. Windows Media Player is now
reporting "An error occurred." and then under details "The system cannot
find path specified."
This time I made a playlist of the .wav files I wanted copied whereas the
first time I just opened folder containing .wav files and clicked "copy all
to CD".
I also have Nero and that is working fine with burning files to CD.
Any advice gratefully appreciated.

You've changed the name of the folder where they were, so it cannot
find them in your new playlist. Recreate your old folder and they will play.

Has the music just disappeared from your (Unspecified version of)
Windows Media Player library, or has it gone from your hard drive? IS
their anything in your My Music folder? What if you run a disk search on
music files?
