Media Player Not Responding?

My media player will not start up no matter what I do?? Help? I double click shortcut.....nothing, I select from start menu....still nothing? Can anyone help please?
 
Go to Start > Run and in the Run box copy, then paste the following:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\setup_wm.exe"

Then hit the Enter key to reinstall Windows Media Player.
