When I try to play a MIDI file on Windows Media Player or my Other MIDI file
player (PowerTracks Pro) it hesitates every few seconds, then continues.
I already downloaded the latest XP drivers for the Integrated sound card..
Any Ideas appreciated..

This a brand new installation of XP Pro on a new computer I just built, with
no other programs running in the background.
The Motherboard is an Aopen MK-77M-V with Integrated Sound, Video, and LAN
on it.
The Integrated sound chip is an AC97.
AMD Athelon 2000 CPU with 256MB DDR RAM .
