Media Player - Copy to CD

B

Ben

I copied some songs onto a blank CD with Media Player 9.0, but can't play it
on anything. I've tried it in my car's CD player, the Discman and the home
hi fi (2 different ones)

What is wrong? Do I need a separate copying software?

The system CD burner WMP uses doesn't finalize CDs by default, which can
cause problems with older CD players-

See http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.

If you make a playlist in WMP and 'Copy to CD' it should convert files
(eg MP3) to the proper Audio CD format in the process. But there is
some trial and error getting media that work well in a burner and also
in a particular audio player like a car one. And make sure they are
CD-R - CD-RW almost certainly will *not* work
