media player can't show screen only can play sound

Hi all,

After I upgrade the computer from XP to Vista, the media player 11 can't
show the screen, it only can play sound when I open some asf or asx link.
Is it have some patch or update I need to install?

Hi Ken,

You need to install a supporting codec for that video type. There are
packages available at various sites that contain the most commonly used one,
here is one example:
