Media Player 9 - no sound or not work

My PC is running XP Home and Media Player 9. Sometimes (once in 2 or 3 days),
the MP cannot play a mp3 or mpeg file, and sometimes, it plays the mpeg file
but there is no sound. The error message said that the sound board is busy or
something like that.
Also, sometimes, it plays, but it was in a "fast forward" mode, and the
sound feels funny (Donald Duck's sound).

I have to re-boot the PC one or two times to get the Media Player to get
back to normal.

Well, nobody helps so I help myself.....

I did re-install the soundcard driver and the sound comes back. I will just
have to do it each time the Media Player loses the sound....

Seems that a lot of people having the same problem. Try re-install the sound
card driver yourself.
