Media Player 11 crash

I am unable to open WMP 11 and only get the options to close program or
search for answers and close. Is there a way of reinstalling WMP 11 or
repairing it?

No upgrade done.

DRM folder is empty.

Tried the routine mentioned but could not find license backup option.

See how it's crashing in indiv01.key? That file is on your system. Where
is it? It should be in the DRM folder. Did you turn on Show Hidden System
Files?

The license backup option is a reference to an older version of the player.
That functionality no longer exists since third parties didn't support it
fully.
