I have vista bussiness and I am trying to install media extender and
it is not allowing me to install. As per the spec I could use it only
in Ultimate or Home premium, is there anyway I can install media
extender in Vista Bussiness? I am trying to hook up my computer to
XBox 360.

Thanks.

You need Media Center to run the extenders, and Media Center is only
available in ... ayep, you guessed it, Home Premium and Ultimate Editions.
There is no way to make it work in Business.

Well the dreaded answer. I hate it. Well, another question, if I
install Home premium, will I able to use VS2005 and able to remote to
my
PC at work?

Thanks.

Yes and yes.

Visual Studio and Vista:

Home Premium does include the Remote Desktop function allowing you to access
a Remote Desktop host, but it cannot be the host itself.

From my experience you should be able to play music and access some video
and picture files on your Xbox 360. you won't be able to use media center to
do this though. It is a bit of a pain to do it though as you have to go back
and forth with setting from one to the other, but I have done it without
media center. Now that I have media center though it was WAY easier to do.
