Media Center problems

I recently did a clean install of MCE2005.

I have an ATI AIW X800XL installed also.

I can use ATI software and watch tv.

I cannot use MCE to watch tv - it states that I have no card installed.


In a seperate issue:
The desktop is displayed with some 'artifact' pixels on it. The screen saver
(aquarium) is choppy.

I have the latest drivers, latest directx and all windows updates installed.
