I just got a new computer with the xp media center 2005. How do I load music
into the media ceter...it says something about creating a library and reading
folders. I have tried following what it says but am getting no where. Is
there an easy way to copy a CD to my hard drive and play it from My Music
from the media center? Thanks

I don't know whether this will help you but this is how I do it on my computer.

First i open the Media Centre program.
Then I choose "My Music"
Next i put the CD into the CD drive. A round circle arrow type of thing
appears while the computer recognises the CD.
Then a folder appears showing the CD I have put into the drive. It has a
picture of a CD sticking out beside the folder, I presume to show that there
is a CD in the drive.
I click this folder and then choose the "Copy CD" command from the Media
Centre list.
Media Centre copies it to the hard drive and then I can play it by clicking
on the folder or the individual songs.

Hope that helps. Cheers, Lee :)
