media 10 won't install

I been trying to install windows media 10. I can download but when I get to
run it comes up C:\Documents and
Settings\MOM\LocalSettings\TemporaryInternet\Content.IE5\GNWEO9QI\MP10Setup[1].exe
is not a valid Win32 application. I did have system restore and reinstalled
sp2 if that has anything to do with it.
 
Windows update should give the option to install,if not run microsoft
update,it will and this update version replaces windows update...

Tools>Internet Options>General
You’ll see Delete files

2. Re-download and then install it.
