Thanks Sengupta for your reply BUT,

If you check at the System Requirements in the page you sent me Windows 2003
is not there. This because even if you try to download and install MDAC on
Windows 2003 it will not replace any file.

And this site http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=828396 says the following
"2.8 MDAC_TYP.exe and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 If you try to run the
2.8 MDAC_TYP.exe file on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003,
installation of the MDAC components appears to complete successfully.
However, no files are updated on your system. This behavior occurs because
by default, Windows Server 2003 includes the MDAC 2.8 components."

So the question is still then how do we do it when some files are corrupted?

Tx everyone,

I was in the wrong newsgroup. I have gone to the Server2003 group now.

Yes, and he should wait there for the proper response. As I'm sure you know,
asking a question in the wrong group can lead to misguided, even if well
meaning, responses.
