MCAFEE PRIVACY SERVICE

Karen

My new Dell computer came with a free trial of McAfee
Privacy service. No matter what I do to try and delete
this from my computer, IT NEVER GOES AWAY! How do I get
this off my computer without constantly having to disable
it.

ALSO, After having my Dell computer for two months, I
found out the hard way that if I didn't register the
Windows XP (which I never had any computer prompt to do
so) Microsoft forces you to register by forcing you to
reinstall Windows one morning when you turn on your
computer. THANKS FOR NOTHING MICROSOFT!!! Because of
your forceful ways, I lost all my data on my computer,
which was hours of work! I AM BEGINNING TO HATE
MICROSOFT FOR CONTROLLING MY COMPUTERIZED LIFE!

Thanks,

Contact Dell or McAfee for removal of the McAfee product.

There is no requirement to register Windows.
There is a requirement to Activate on Retail Windows and some OEM
Windows.
Not activating does not necessitate reinstalling Windows.
Simply activating solves the problem and that takes about 5 minutes at
the most.
However your computer is a Dell.
Dell are preactivated from the factory.
Also if it was an activation issue, you would have had the issues at
30 days and not 2 months.

Whatever the issue that caused a reload, had nothing to do with
activating or Registering Windows.
If you choose to "HATE MICROSOFT", make sure it is for the right
reason.
This is not a Microsoft issue and Microsoft is not trying to
"CONTROLLING MY COMPUTERIZED LIFE".
Whoever gave you this incorrect information knows very little about
Windows.
I suggest you look elsewhere for your computer information.
