McAfee Privacy Service 6 makes windows XP search crash and restart

Hi you all!!

I've installed the McAfee internet bundle, it includes the Privacy Service
6.
But now my search option in windows xp crashes every time, and needs to
restart (((

I've had this problem before, and now I wanted to give it one more go, so I
installed it again, but still the same problem.
McAfee don't seem to know anything about this, and my Windows is fully
updated!
By the way, I have a Danish version of Windows XP pro, could that be the
cause?

Is there a way to reinstall only this part of Windows?
Is there an alternative search program to the one that comes with Windows
XP?

To reinstall search
Go to Start > Run and copy and paste the two following lines so that
it forms one line, leaving one space blank between them:

rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
%systemroot%\inf\srchasst.inf

You will need the XP CD. Alternatively, you may want to know the
location of the Windows\ServicePackFles\i386 and
Windows\System32\dllcache folders.
