McAfee Internet Security Suite (RedZone)

Does anyone have anything positive to say about MIS? A friend of mine has
had more problems with it than I believe it's worth.

Recently had problems with the spam killer module not being able to
communicate; it had been working fine for nearly a month before it decided
to stop. After uninstalling/reinstalling twice, it appears to be working
again.

Just the other night (within a week of resolving the other problem), the
privacy service has stopped. Although the it indicates all is well
initially, the summary screen reports the protection level is at a one (1).
When we try to update the service, it opens a McAfee page and then stalls.
Tried to "repair" the installation: that process appears to moving along
when all of a sudden an error message appears stating the repair process was
interrupted and then stops. Went back into task manager and ensured all MIS
processes had stopped - still no luck on subsequent.

Any thoughts? Getting ready to tell my friend to invest her money in Norton
Internet Security. At least I'm able to use that program.
