McAfee Enterprise 8.x Crashes Server

I have installed the new McAfee 8.x client on a Windows 2000 domain
controller. Shortly afterwards, the server began to hang and finally
blue screened and rebooted. I was able to log back in, but only for
the same problem to reoccur. After removing McAfee the problem went
away.

As it turned out, the same McAfee client was added to another server at
the same time as the other and the same problem occured. An added
problem was that users could not access the network shares they were
able to before. The same blue screen problem occured...

Any one having these or similar problems. I haven't found too much
information from McAfee but will use my Enterprise support to find out
the root cause.

It is probably the IDS built in. Obtain Enterprise VirusScan v7.1 and use it instead.
