What specifically did you see at that page that was IE-centric? I do
see some JavaScript that says:

var isNS = (navigator.appName.indexOf("Netscape") != -1 );
var isIE = (navigator.appName.indexOf("Microsoft") != -1 );
Just that the heading and body are aligned in IE, whereas in Firefox the
body is off to the right. And the table didn't load 100% until the 2nd or
3rd try. I've read that the Mozilla Foundation now has full time
employee(s) who will be contacting sites in order to convince them to code
to standard.

Hm, they look identical to me - body not displaced. JavaScript on or
off also didn't cause any difference in the display.

By table, did you mean the "download products" table near the bottom
of the page? Seems to load pretty quick for me. It's actually a fairly
well designed page, except for the excessive JavaScript. It could be

Oooh, really? Wonder if they need any help. :)
Do you have a link about this?

Well, that's absurd. :) I surely wouldn't use one like that. Is the
current McAfee one of them, and is there documentation to that effect?

Dunno about the latest version but I've heard complaints about recent
versions. Won't even install unless you have IE and also have IE set
to enable scripting and activex (as I recall).

NAV is another IE dependent pile of bloat that should be banned :)

If you aren't bent over and spread wide for the next 0-day event,

They're still off kilter with me, jasvascript on or off.

I've researched the (Firefox) RSS and nothing. It was either there that I
read it or a link from a news letter. I tried several variations through
google but came up empty - sorry.

Then it could be some subtle difference between my and your default
fonts, sizes, dpi, or similar. Probably not worth the effort to pursue
further.
