McAfee 2007 Installation problem

So I have bought McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007, and when I put the CD
in the D: drive, I get an error message that reads "Unable to setup the frame
window. Exiting..."

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I haven't found anything close to that
on any support board at all.

IMHO you really don't want to put this stuff on your computer. The fact the
install failed may be a blessing in disguise. It's also a good sample of the
quality of coding that it does this rightaway!

There are plenty of downloadable antivirus products out there (AVG, NOD32,
Trend, Kaspersky, etc. ) and most of them work fine. The two to avoid are..
Norton and McAffee. The reason, and the only reason, these two are so
prevalent in the marketplace is that they're forcibly foisted onto the
unsuspecting owners of new computers.

Thank you. The only thing that kills me is that I can't get a refund from
COMP usa on the software so I'm out a bunch of cash. Which anti-virus do you
recommend?
