MBR info needed

I have a applciation to fx the MBR code. Currently, I am able to fix the MBR
for Windows 2000 and WIndows XP by using the fixed pre-defined data defined
for these OS.

I am not able to achive MBR fix for Vista due to followign issue:

1.) I am not able to figure out how does Vista Disk Signature(4 bytes) will
be generated.
2.) I am seeing this is getting generated different per isntallation/per
hardware.
3.) After booting with portable oeprating system I am not able to figure out
the Vista MBR dat even from followign reg key ? How can I construct and
interprete MBR data of of Vista ?
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices]

Bottom line is:

1) I am not able to restore Vista Signature (4bytes) via PE enivironment.

ANy Document or pointers on this issue will be highly appreciated.
