Maybe some helpful information for those that provide help

I was looking around at the things available within MSAS and while I've seen
the diagnostic option before I never really looked into it. What I found
was that if you have a user go to Help / About, they can click on
Diagnostics and will get a small window with information in it. If the drag
their mouse, or use the Shift / Down Arrow message they can copy and paste
that information into a news post for you to look at. What you would get is
the following:

It might prove helpful with someone having a not so common problem. BTW, I
like the "TimeBomb" stuff in there. :) Gives me the warm fuzzies just
thinking I've got a time bomb ticking in the software. :)

Hi

All Betas have time bombs and thats good. ;)

To be sure that users switch to Final version, in this
case it also will be free..........

"At the RSA conference, Bill Gates announced the consumer
and enterprise strategy for Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware.
"The personal version of the final Windows AntiSpyware
software (will be) available at no additional charge to
licensed Windows customers as part of the Windows value
proposition. The offering will offer full functionality to
consumers, including the ability to detect and remove
spyware, continual protection that helps guard against more
than 50 ways that Web sites and programs can put spyware on
a PC, and protection against the latest threats through the
combined efforts of the SpyNetT community and Microsoft
researchers. For business customers, with more complex
infrastructure support, management and deployment needs,
Microsoft plans a managed anti-spyware solution that will be
available as part of a paid solution."

You're right. I've never looked really closely at that stuff--and there's
enough there to be useful enough that we should ask people to post it in
some circumstances. It is a little annoying that the version number of the
definitions isn't there, but enough information IS there to verify that
detail, I think.

I'm not sure exactly what steps I could ask someone to take based on results
from that list, but maybe that's just because I haven't been looking at
them--worth trying.

OK - now we've got a feel for some "good" ones--lets see if we can get some
"bad" ones. Gotta go find the guys with the broken system agents, etc.
