maybe offtopic but "Open file-Security Warning" message

FireBrick

I use a little program that has new versions/updates frequently.
Every time I dl the new version and attempt to start it, I get:
a window that says:
Open File - Security Warning

and I have to clear the Always ask before opening this file box.

Is there a way to tell the Security module that even though it's a new
version, I still want it to open/run without the warning each time?

please and thank you.

To prevent this prompt from appearing, add the IP address / domain name of
the network share to your Intranet or Trusted Zone in Internet Explorer.
That should stop it from happening from that site.

I guess I didn't explain it correctly
I can download the new version with no problem.
It's when I go to open and run the new version of the program for the first
time that I get the warning message and have to clear the Always ask before
opening this file box tick mark.

After that, it will open and run fine from then on.

I do have the name of the program in my Security 'exceptions' but because it
is different after each new version download, apparently Security Center
thinks disregards my 'exception'.
I think it may be related to the fact that the program doesn't have a signed
feature....?????

Thank you for the link.
But even though I read it a couple of times, I couldn't see where it applies
exactly to my problem.

The 'inclusion list' management seems to effect the whole group in each risk
group.

I have a single program, only this one, that I would like system to
recognize and allow to be run without the warning every time it's updated.

Could this be an issue because the program does not have the 'signing'
approval of MS?

Hi FireBrick,

To prevent the zone information from being saved, you may use a third-party
browser or a download manager to download the program. If you're using IE,
then save the downloaded file to a FAT / FAT32 partition.
