Maximum size for distribution lists

I have Outlook 2002 and I have an email list with over 750 email addresses
that I want to be able to send an email to. When I add all 750 emails I get
an error message that says "This distribution list has reached the maximum
size for your network email server. No new members could be added." My
question is what is the limit for distribution lists in Outlook 2002? Also,
how do you increase the size? What are other potential solutions to be able
to manage a list this size in Outlook 2002?

Thanks in advance.

Outlook's limit is not member-based, but based on the number of characters
in the complete list. I think it's 32K or 64K characters total and there's
no way to change it. The message you're seeing is not an Outlook message
per-se. It is being generated by your mail server. If you're using
Exchange, talk to your Exchange administrator. If you're using another type
of account, talk to the support staff of your provider.

Brian,

I am the Exchange Administrator on my network. Is there a way for me on
Exchange to increase the size?
