Maximum number of Tasks

We have users who use 'mail enabled' folders (generic mailbox)They wouold
like to 'set up' a task which would pop up on due date, etc.
Is there a limit on the number of tasks which can be held for a mailbox? If
so what would be the threshhold?.

Lets just say that Outlook can hold enough tasks to keep you busy untill
your six feet under ;-)

There is no limit. However Task Reminders will only work from the users
default Task folder. It will not work from sub-folders or other Task
folders.

If you need to use subfolders, get reminder manager from

Roady and Sanjay,

Thank you for your responses, both 'inspiring' and - and helpful.

If any one of you can comment on whether creating 'tasks/reminders' on a
public folder item(s) would work? e.g. public folder (or subfolder) receives
a form, and the task is created (programatically) to act on this form 20 days
from now, as a reminder etc.

Will the User using that 'generic' mbx get the reminder?
On completion of the tasks, the User claims that they will be moved to
another folder e.g. 'completed'. Both these could be sub folders, which could
cause issues, correct?.
Would /cleanreminders or /cleanfreebusy work on specific PF subfolders?, in
case of 'corruption'.?

Any response would be appreciated.
