maximum number of Categories for calendar

Is it possible to increase the number of categories in an Outlook 2007/
Exchange 2007 calendar? Right now it seems like the maximum is 25,
and I'd like to increase that to 40 if I can.

Is this 25 categories on an appointment or just 25 categories available in
outlook?

If you hit a limit on the categories, it cant overridden but I'm not hitting
a limit and I have around 50. Colors are limited - you'll need to reuse some
colors.

only want to tag any given appointment with one to three of them.

I want to have more than 25 categories available in Outlook. I would

I have 35 categories set up in Outlook 2007. Obviously I have to duplicate
colours, but that's not a problem as long as related categories aren't the
same colour...

If there's a limit, you're far away from hitting it. There's a limit of 25
colors, but, for instance, if you assign "red" to 200 categories, Outlook's
fine with that.
