Maximize winodws by default

Is there any way to have the windows maximized by default
when they are opened? Every time I open any window, it is
minimized, and it gets annoying having to maximize every
time.

Michael, open the window, stretch it to the size you want with your mouse
and then click File, then Close. The next time you click on that shortcut
the window will open to the size you stretched it to. Do the same for any
link within IE that you click on and then all links will open to that size.
This works with IE, OE or Windows Explorer.
The window will not be truly Maximized but you can stretch it to the same
size as Maximizing would.
