Maximize window button does not work

I have a user with this problem: If she has an
application (e.g., Outlook) that is minimized, and she
clicks the maximize button, the window resizes for a
second but then immediately shrinks back down to its
minimized size. However, if she right-clicks and selects
Maximize, it works fine. She's running Windows
2000/Office 2003.

Any ideas?

Maximize from right click? If so, why? Stretch the window to the size
needed, then use File/Exit/Close.
