Max Payne 2??

Dobes

Hi Guys,

Wanna play Max Payne 2....Recommended graphics card must be 64mb AGP with
hardware transform & lighting support. Can anyone recommend a suitable card?
Do most cards have hardware & transform lighting thing or is this relatively
new?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

T&L was introduced about 6 years ago with the GeForce 1. Any ATI or
NVidia card from the last 5 years has T&L. What card do you have now?

It is a relatively new thing. T&L is a cutting edge feature that's not yet
available but is planned for implementation in the X1000-XT-PE-Ultra and the
Geforce SuperFX 6890 series of PCI-E 64x graphics cards. When available, it
will allow for temporal phase shifts and quantum singularities to be run on
chip rather than emulated.

Hope that helps.

joking :)

it's an old feature. Chances are you've got T&L capability if your card is
AGP.

wouldn't say that exactly. If it's AGP and up to 4 years old THEN it will
probably have hardware T&L, anything older may not have.

Nope. T&L in hardware was first introduced with the Geforce 3 classic.
That's why I bought the card.

My Geforce 2/GTS had hardware T&L so guess again genius.
