Max Connections

Can you say what the default setting is for.
Max connections per server and per 1_0 server.

Funny thing is each time I check them, they show something different
currently decimal 6 and earlier decimal 16.

Is it normal for them to change themselves.
 
Thank you. According to that link the default registry settings are 10
decimal, which I think is what I am looking for.

I wasn't refering to IE as such, in fact I use Firefox.
