Matrox Hardware Erro

Hi there

I'm not sure if this is a Windows XP or Matrox problem.

I'm using a MatroxRTX.100 card in my system along with an Intel 82945G
Express Graphics Adapter. I've downloaded and installed all of the latest
drivers and reinstalled both Adobe Premier Pro and Matrox Tools.

However, when trying to start Adobe or Matrox, I'm greeted with different
error messages. The main message is:

CRT2600MainGraph AddFilter(CLSID_Flex3DVideoRendererFilter) failed! hr =
0x80041134.
FileName:RT2600MainGraph.cpp.
Error line is 731.
Could not add Live Window filters in BuildGraph hr = 0x80041134.
FileName:RT2600MainGraph.cpp.
Error line is 335.

Secondly, and I'm not sure if this is related, but I am seeing some very
strange system processes in Task Manager.

The main one is EA6446.exe and a google doesn't return any results. With
restarting, the process name changes, but it is always two letters and four
numbers, plus an executable. No search reveals anything about this, and virus
scans and malware/trojans etc trun up blank too.

any ideas?

I'm at my wits end

Hi,

First check, have you disabled the on-board graphic adapter in the BIOS
setting?
Second check, in device manager, is there any yellow exclaimation on the
display adapters? Pls also check the display drivers to ensure they are XP
compatible.

Hope it helps.

I take it youre useing an add-on video adapter with the 945G,to add on to
on-board adapter,one must 1st,open device mgr,expand the current display
adapter,select uninstall-dont restart computer,close out,shut-down,power-off,
install other display adapter,power-up,open xp.At this point, return to device
mgr,again uninstall,run youre drivers/software for new adapter,once thru,
restart computer.Back in xp,you'll find the 2 adapters installed and ok.....

I would seem that you need to choose which graphics adapter you would
like windows to use...

Once you have decided you need to disable the one you have decided that
you are not going to use...

Restart and repost...

Hi

Many thanks to all who tried to assist with the problem I was experiencing.

However, the problem eventually turned out to be with the Realtek High
Definition Audio device not being compatible with Adobe Premier Pro 1.5. The
driver that was supplied was incompatible, but the latest driver worked.

Shows just how weired software and hardware can be!
