I am newbie to Frontpage and webpage creation, so please
bear with me. Is there a math equation editor for
Frontpage 2003 in the program? If so, where is it
located? If not, what other options would be available to
me for writing equations and posting them with Frontpage.
I do have MS Word 2002, which does have an equation
editor. Thanks for any suggestions.

You do not say in your post whether you want this so
called "math equation editor" to perform the math or
simply display it.

If you want to display it, perhaps you could use a
graphics program such Photoshop Elements to create a
graphic of the equations and then import the graphic into
your website.

If you want calculations done, then you will have to
learn how to program.

Rick, thanks for your reply. To clarify my original
question, I am interested simply in an editor, not a
calculator. HTML coding capability is not as good, as
fast, or as varied in displaying math symbols as MS
Word's equation editor. I was hoping that maybe Frontpage
2003 had an equation editor, but if it does, I have not
been able to find it. I'm interested in an editor that
would help to display math symbols used in algebra, trig,
and calculus equations. I was hoping to do so without
having to acquire another program such as Photoshop
Elements. Maybe I could paste the results of Word's
equation editor into Frontpage as a jpg image. Haven't
tried that yet.

You could try Insert | Symbol then if the default font doesn't have the symbols you want try scrolling down to Symbol Font. This might work - not sure if the Symbol font is web-friendly.

FP does not have such an editor.

Google for web equations and you'll find many hits.

David,

Your best bet would be to do the work in MS Word, and
create jpg images. If the viewer didn't have the fonts
installed your work would have been for naught.
