Masters - cannot remove shadow in a presentation

Another solution;

Open the PowerPoint file in question.
Make sure the Drawing toolbar is visible (View -
Toolbars - check mark next to 'Drawing').

Select View - Master - Slide Master (or Title Master -
you'll quickly figure out which is which).

Click anywhere inside the offending text box - it will
read something like, "Click to edit Master title style".

Move to the edge of this text box, and when your pointer
changes from an insertion bar to an arrow, click once
more. Notice that the pattern of the border around the
box changes from diagonal lines to dots.

On the Drawing toolbar, select the 2nd tool from the
right (Shadow Style) and choose 'No Shadow'.

Then, click the "S" on the Formatting toolbar (right next
to the Bold "B" and the "U" underline) to be sure that
that shadow setting is also turned off.

Your text will now have no shadow and you will not have
to remove it from every slide.

Save the file if you want to keep those changes.
