Master Slides

Hi

I have come across an inconsistency when using Master Slides within a
presentation. After creating several slides, each with a title I amended the
format in the master slide to change the font and the fill colour, the new
font was applied to all exisiting slides and new ones no problem but the
fill colour in existing slides was not updated.

Is this a problem with Powerpoint 2000 or is there another reason why this
may occur?

Sometimes you have to reapply the slide layout to the slide before changes
that were made to the master "kick in" on the slide. And sometimes you even
have to reapply the slide layout twice!

I think it's usually due to manual formatting on a slide -- that seems to
override (somewhat) changes to the master. At any rate, just reapply the
slide layout and you should be fine.
