Contact PB Support. They may offer replacement CDs.

.
Steve,
Call Dell and have them send you a XP disc. When you buy
Windows XP, or any windows for that fact, you are not
buying the CD but the 25 digit serial number. If you have
a friend or a computer store in town have them make you a
copy of the disc. It is not illegal to do that. Also,
get a bootable floopy and when it is at the A:\ prompt
just type "fdisk" and it will bring up a program that will
allow you to format the hard drive and then boot from the
cd and you've got it.

Greetings --

Call Dell? Why would they provide support for a Packard Bell PC?

No, I did not suggest that Microsoft will replace OEM software.
The article I referenced explains that to replace OEM software,
contact the OEM.

"To replace OEM software media, you must contact the OEM where
you acquired the hardware and software. If that OEM is no longer in
business, you can contact Microsoft Sales Information at (800) 426-9400
for more information about alternatives for acquiring genuine software".
