Mass Mailing - Outlook 2002 and 2003

Hi,
I have been in this Forum about 18 months ago and got some good advice from
Sue Mosher, thanks again. I use Outlook user defined views and categories to
extract contacts. I then combine these with the Mail Merge module in
Outlook. I am very happy with this solution which allows me to do quite
sophisticated extractions. To circumvent the security blocage, I have
installed the little add-on ExpressClickYes which is perfect.

I now have a customer who is asking for my professional consulting and I
would like to recommend the same solution. However, I am a bit worried about
this Express ClickYes add-on that suspends protection whilst sending the
messages.

Also, I have been looking at software such as WorldMerge which seems good.
To my great frustration, it does not locate my .pst files on two different
PC's, even though I have an absolutely classical configuration on both. Its
a shame but I cannot recommend something that might not work.

Finally, my questions.
1) Does all software that does bulk mail have to suspend the security
protection?
2) Does that mean that vulnerability is always an issue whilst sending bulk
mail?
3) Is there an other way?
4) If yes, what do you recommend. Needs to be a professional solution

Thanks a lot, best regards

Hi Doris,

Not all available tools deal with the Security Warning correctly. Most tools
that do mention that in the product description (as they are proud of it
like they should).

I'm using the Mail Merge Toolkit from MapiLab because of the tight Office
integration and it allows me to send attachments with the mail as well.
