C Cindy M. Sep 14, 2006 #2 Hi Griss, How do I keep a Word document from being in the Markup view everytime I open it? It's not just one document, it's all documents. Click to expand... There's a checkbox in Tools/Options/Security for Word 2003 you can deactivate: "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving". However, if these are being sent to you by email from people with an option activated in Outlook, this setting might not make any difference.
