marking cd's

Wondered if anyone had heard this one. A web site claims that if you use a
Marking Pen on a cd (magic marker) that the ink can, over time, seep into
the CD and render it unreadable. I personally have marked many cd's and so
far had no problems. Another bogus claim?

I read the same thing somewhere Jack. But like you, have had no problems ,
providing that it is a soft tip marker. Wonder just how true that info is on
the Web. Guess we'll find out in time.
