MarkFun_Load_NT_Driver error at bootup

Having trouble with a RAID 1 setup. Gigabyte 8-KNXP
motherboard w/ ITE 8212 GigaRaid controller chip (IDE3 &
IDE4). Clean W2K instal onto separat HD-0 IDE drive. RAID
array recognized, & partitions set in Disk Manager. Then
W2K did not see the drives or array on reboot. Quirky
behavior (deleting the array in BIOS setup and recreating
it could make W2K see it, but it would be lost again).

No legacy drivers appear in Device Manager (view hidden
devices). Found "MarkFun" entries in registry, but was
unable to change them. Removed the GUID entry pointed to
(which seems used by a lot of non-plug and play legacy
devices). Now, I still get the MarkFun_Load driver error at
boot up, but the mirror array seems to be recognized after
cold or warm boots, accepts files, etc.

What's going on? The last thing I want is to lose the array
down the road. TIA.
