Mark Junk Email as Read Upon Receipt

I'm going to continue to search the forums, but I thought I'd post this
question in the meantime.

Outlook 07 (via exchange) is sending all emails, including junk emails to my
windows mobile phone. The mobile is using outlook as its mail service and
I'd like to avoid changing that if possible.

I have discovered that this problem is eliminated if the junk mail is
immediately marked as "read" on my desktop's outlook.

I am very familiar with rules and whatnot, but have not been able to find
any rule that can be applied to "junk mail".

Any advise anyone? Can anyone think of other ways to prevent mobile outlook
from picking up these unread junk mails? Totally open to any options.

Thanks!

Does your mobile phone access the server directly or does it sync with desktop
Outlook?

The Junk E-mail filter runs before the rules engine gets a chance, so the Junk
E-mail messages have already been moved to the Junk E-mail folder prior to the
rules get a chance. The only way to apply rules to the Junk E-mail folder is
manually.

There may be something the Exchange admins can do (but I don't know that for
sure, since I don't know much about Exchange). Have you asked them about it?

My investigation has lead to no real useful answers. One thing I have seen
over and over is VBA scripting in outlook. So - does anyone have (or can
they quickly write) code that will mark all emails in the junk mail folder as
"read" every so often? Say every minute or so?
