Marging Problems

I have Windows 2002 in the office and use WORD. Even
though I set my margins at 1" when I go to print I get a
message that I am printing outside the printable area of
the page and when it prints the document is shifted to
the right with a very large left margin. When I check my
margin setting under Page Set Up it says 1" but when I do
a default or a fix it changes the margin to over 2
inches. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
