Margin Error message

How can I permamently delete the message, "One or more margins are outside
the printable area . . ." When printing merged letters, I get this message
for each merged letter. To click ignore for hundreds of letters is annoying,
espcially since my printer prints edge-to-edge.

Hi epicdon

While that may be, it's likely that the printer driver doesn't tell Word
all about its capabilities.

I would inquire with the printer manufacturer whether they are aware of
this problem and/or have an updated printer driver available.

If that doesn't work, maybe you need a tool to acknowledge this message
for you (probably could be written in VBA, or there are tools like
ClickYes who might solve that problem).

Whether or not the printer is capable of printing edge to edge, it will only
do that if the printer driver allows it to do so. Word is very closely tied
with the printer driver. It would be a plan to open the merge source
document - set the active printer to the printer to be used for the job,
then open page setup. Save the settings and at the margin error prompt, fix
the margins. Then merge your document.
