Marcos Disable when Workbook Password is added

C

Carey Campbell

I have a protected the worksheet(s), Saved the File in a Trusted Location,
password protected the VBE and my macros run fine. File is saved as .xlsm The
'Enable marcoes'message does not appear. FINE.

However, as soon as I add a password to the entire WORKBOOK file, save it
and re-open it, The marcos are disabled and no Marco Security box is shown
allowing me to enable macoes ( Which it should not anyway since the file is
in a Trusted Location ) If I go back and remove the WORKBOOK password,
re-save and re-open the Workbook, everyhting is now fine again.

Looking for clues

I am having that exact problem, were you ever able to come up with a
solution? I really would like to password protect my file with marcos.
