Mapping Question

Having an issue ampping to a server which I can't figure out. If I map a
drive let's say F: \\servername\share /user: passoword /persistent:no

and disconnect form the above, when I try to map to another share on the
server, I get an error that the credentials supplied conflict with an
existing set of credentials.....even the the drive has been disconnected.
Any ideas why??

use net use with teh delete option to delte any srives which are mapped to
the server already and that includes any IPC$ mappings.
