I am trying to map a network drive to a shared directory
on my system. I get an error stating that the network
path cannot be found.

Example:

Drive Letter: Q
Folder: D:\Mystuff

Is there any settings buried somewhere that I can check to
enable my system to be seen by the Map Network Drive
dialog box?

thanks,

Dave

Don't know if this will help, but you need to include the
computer name when you map the drive:
Drive Letter: Q
Folder: \\Lisa's Computer\D:\Mystuff
Try that and see if it helps.

It should actually be:

\\Lisacomputer\sharename
