Mapped network drive

A mapped network drive will not reconnect at restart. I
have to go to the mapped drive under "my computer" and
double clik to get it to reconnect. It is ok until the
next restart.

it should be , i think it just does that if u dont have
the computer with the source for the network drive Online

please tell me, if the source directory is on a Windows XP/NT/Server Machine, if so do you have "simple sharing" disabled (you can find out under Tools>Folder Options>Veiw [or in group policies if youve changed it manually there]) or do you have complex sharing enabled? if you do have simple sharing off then it is possible that your user permissions have been changed in a way that it prevents this.
