Mapped drives

Hi,

I'm having a problem with network drives.

Two clients both running WinXP (Home), 'A' maps a drive
on 'B' to reconnect at logon. 'B' is always on, but
when 'A' boots up the connection is not restored.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps 'A' is powering down the network adapter as an
energy saving feature. Is 'B' able to reconnect when
rebooted immediately after manually restoring the
connection to 'A'?

It could be because of the Fast Logon Option. Check out http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...port/kb/articles/q305/2/93.asp&NoWebContent=1 on how to disable this.
