Mapped drive not reconnecting

I have setup two mapped drives on my machine to a NAS. My machine is running
XP with SP2 and I'm running in a wireless network. I mapped to \\comnas and
checked the box to reconnect at login. When my machine reboots I see the
drives in my computer, but they show as a disconnected network drives. When
I double click on either one, I'm connected to the NAS and the backup process
begins to work.

I've tried to net use command as well as the gui and am not having luck on
getting this drives to reconnect without manual intervention.

I would appreciate any insight as to what is occuring.

I would ensure you are using the same "user" on each device. If your XP
machine is logged on as "Jason", create the same user / password on the NAS
device. This should do the trick.

I had a similar problem between an XP Home machine and an XP Pro
machine. To resolve, I created a bat file containing the net use
instructions to first delete the mapped drives and then create the map
drives. I then created a shortcut for the bat file and placed it in
the All Users Startup folder.
