Errors reconnecting Mapped Network Drive

We have a small office network consisting of 7 computers; On one computer
is a database folder that is drive mapped onto the other six. we have a
problem when we attempt reconnection to the mapped drive. we sometinmes get
an errror stating that reconnection failed because there are already as many
connections as the computer can accept. The error occurs inconsistantly.
The computers that have had problems are all running XP Home SP2, as is the
host computer. Any Ideas

XP Home has a limit of 5 concurrent inbound network connections (and note
that it isn't "one computer=one connection"). XP Pro supports 10 (same
caveat). Sounds like you may need a server or NAS box.
