Mapped Drive Error

Mark

Hi. I'm experiencing an error message when I try to connect to a
mapped drive using a programs 'open' or 'save' dialogue box. The
message looks like this:
The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'target.lnk' refers
to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or
the network resource is available and the try again". I click on Ok
and it goes through to the drive. This is simply an annoyance. Why
does this happen, and how can I make it stop?

The machine I'm connecting to is a winodws 2003 server and the
workstation is running windows xp professional. Thanks!

Mark
