MAPI SPOOLING

How do you stop an email in the outbox from being sent?
I can not delete it. And when I try to open it, it
states the MAPI spooling has already begun and the email
can not be opened.

-Place Outlook Off-line (File-> Work Off line)
-restart Outlook
-delete the mail
-place Outlook back On-line

If on a LAN line, once Outlook is configured to work offline, be sure
to disconnect the network cable, restart the computer. Open Outlook,
delete the message, reconfigure Outlook to LAN connection, exit
Outlook, plug the network cable back in and restart the computer.
